Chamber Music Program

The 4 Scrolls

The Chamber Music Program continues the comprehensive music education your child has been enjoying into their teen years. You should be especially proud that your student has continued and excelled to this point!  Students at this level typically participate in the area’s youth orchestras as well as all-city, all county, and all state orchestra opportunities through their public school programs. Advanced students are still invited and expected to participate in TESS Community Performances and may occasionally be given their own performances as opportunities arise. Non-TESS students may audition for placement in alternative, advanced and chamber classes without changing private teachers.

Students in the Chamber Music Program are coached either by Becki Christopherson (training ensembles) or Nick Revel (established ensembles). They perform four times per year in formal recital settings and may also have gigs throughout the community. It is not necessary to study privately at TESS and participate in the Chamber Music Program at this level. We are a musical resource for all young musicians in support of the admirable efforts of all of the private and public school teachers in Fairfield County.
